Bardessono has a rooftop pool in Yountville, in the middle of Napa Valley wine country. The pool offers a private retreat just steps away from some of wine country’s best eats, like French Laundry and Bouchon. The rooftop pool is so tucked away, you might miss it if you don’t go looking for it.
During summer months, poolside Dive Bar is open and serving fresh cocktails, which is a welcome change from all the wine you’ll be drinking. Pool service is available in off-season months through a phone that direct dials the bar downstairs.
My stay at Bardessono was extremely comfortable, and the bathrooms with showers that open to the private outdoor patio were extra special. The hotel has a very laid-back atmosphere, fitting for the destination.
